Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term, goal-directed therapeutic approach that emphasises practical, measurable change. It helps you identify what you want to be different, clarify concrete goals, and build on existing resources to achieve those changes within a limited time frame.
Its structured, future-focused methodology makes it particularly effective for clients who want to focus on changing something specific in their lives.
While SFBT is not strictly a coaching relationship, coaching approaches have borrowed heavily from SFBT. So although I am using the 'coaching' banner here, our client–therapist relationship remains a clinical therapeutic relationship.
This is a good fit for you if you would rather focus on solutions rather than problems, and keep our work together brief.
